What started out as a an amazing moving experience has quickly turned out to be an absolute nightmare that I would not wish upon anyone. Just received my stuff today and everything got here in one piece. Edens picked up my things from San Leandro CA to Houston TX on 08/20 and the pickup crew was incredible! They packed everything I have without saving on any supplies, clearly why nothing was damaged on it's way here. After reading all of the negative reviews online was pretty skeptic about using Eden's Moving. Marty, my moving coordinator assured me that it's not always what it seems to be. As a business owner myself, I know that consumers share more of their bad experience online and less people share their positive experience. This is the worst moving company in the USA. They give a lower quote but they almost always find a way to get $200 to $300 extra at the destination. This has happened to my nephew and now it has happened to me. They kept my furniture for three weeks and we had to keep calling for updates. No one called us to give us updated. This is the worst moving company in the world. They picked up my stuff 26 days ago and never called for updates. We keep calling and getting promised different delivery date windows. They finally told us the furniture will be loaded from their warehouse yesterday and today we called to find out it's still not loaded. This company should shut down. They are horrible horrible horrible.

Edens Moving Services - Don't Use if You Are in an Apartment

Look, we have all heard the issues with these big cross country moving companies. Thing is, I have done it three times and this last time was a terrible experience. This is a warning to people who especially live in apartment complexes. Chances are those really large trucks are likely not going to be able to pickup or deliver in most apartment complexes and instead of addressing this properly upfront, the company keeps charging you all these up... My things arrived damaged and broken. After months of going through their settlement process they refused to pay actual damages because I posted a review with the BBB. This is a company you want to steer clear of. They tell you they are professional but are absolutely not. They hire people who are not capable of doing a good job.

We received a phone call from the driver, MIKE ROSENFELD from Eden's Movers, informing us that he would be arriving in Boston to deliver our property the next day between 8am and 12pm. The next at 11am, we received a call from the driver informing us that he was running late and would not be able to arrive until 2pm. 9/23/15: I was assessed a surprise extra charge amounting to 20% over the original quote, and an antique cabinet was damaged in the move. When I got my initial quote, I gave EXACT dimensions and quantity of every piece/box for my move. After the movers had taken my things out of the house and they were sitting on the front lawn, they said I had been given an incorrect quote and they demanded extra money. I agree. The company is horrible. They are only concerned with how much they receive. Taking care of your items is not in the contract. My items were in storage for over a month. I could not afford the extra costs quoted after my things were on their truck, not to mention the liability section of the contract has already been x'ed for you to sign.
