Edens Moving Dishonors WAR VETERANS CONTRACT!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My name is jeremy brewer. Budget Van Lines hired Eden's Moving Services for my cross country move. I staged everything by side of the road awaiting pick up. I am an auto technician. So one of my items the biggest items is my professional MAC tool box. Is barely 2 years old if that. The quote was not horrible. I did pay extra money to have a special equipped truck so my box would be taken care of and handled correctly. In the contract my box was to be covered with moving blankets to cover the paint. When receiving my belongings in Vancouver, Wa where i moved to from Cincinnati, Oh. My expensive tool box was not covered and was not strapped down at all. As you can imagine my box had severe damage. Scratches, missing paint and a partially broken handle. I have pictures before leaving to show condition of my tool box in cincinnati when loading and leaving in Eden's hands. Among the tool box damage. At least half my plastic tubs were damaged in some way. Some open, some deted badly, Some damaged so bad Edens reboxed my things in one of their own boxes with out notification. Or least a courtesy call. My tools were out of their trays and just thrown in. Had to pull out every socket one by one. Luckily nothing was missing. The damages totaled to 1800.00. Which is repairs on my tool box and replacement of broken items. Edens of course claims no liability. That I didnt pay for extra warr. So i have to buy extra warr. for your service to do the job promised and right the first time of taking care of my things? Does this sound right to anyone? Since the contract in my eyes and others was not abided by on their part...doesnt that void the warr.? You said you would cover my box, and you didn't. So how does the 60 cents per lb thing fair resolution. Which comes to be about 100.00. So 1800.00 in damages offer by their ins. is 100.00. Hmmm. I will say after complaining they did bump to 600.00. But if it was completely your fault for damages shouldnt i get the full amount? Box covered....no damage. Everyone would of won. This is my complaint. Hope it makes it to the right people. Edens is hoping I go away with tail between my legs. Not before everyone knows how my belongings were treated and how they reimburse people for their mistakes. I have all pictures to back this up.

Stolen Merchandise

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I hired this company for a local move from North Aurora, CO to West Aurora, CO. They moved my things in the allotted time, but damaged my treadmill and STOLE several boxes of bluray dvds. The manager contacted me and said the employees make too much money to steal my merchandise. I trusted them to move my things and got burned big time. I have, excuse me, had over 500 dvds, and I packed the blurays separate because they were easier to pack that way. Don't hire them, and if you do you better check the truck when they are done.

Edens Moving Services - Zero Customer Satisfaction, Cheating with money , Irresponsible behaviour,Please no one believe on these guys forever untill unless they change themselves

I will get frustrated if I do hear a name called "Edens Moving Services".. About Eden Movers: They don't know the value of people.. Not providing a proper response( if you call them for getting the status they will block your phone number, so only you hear is the ringing sound till the end).. cheating with money..they will take your money first but what we get at last is all broken items.. Eden's movers doesn't know the value of customers..no humanity..no kindness ...not even a single good quality from Eden movers.. About Customer Like us: There is no other go for the person from other country who come and live in US..situation locks that's the only reason they were staying in other countries.. So no other go we have to blindly believe on the people over here..But in written now my opinion towards these people is........cheaters who will do business on everything they want... No doubt even if i get some heart attack because of the irritation, stress that you gain whenever you call Eden Movers.. How Eden movers Approach us and Cheated us::::: (Life time worst experience) First of all we booked Atlantic Movers , they passed it to Edens moving services ...( my simple question over here is when they don't have the capability to handle it why they want to accept and then why they want to pass it to some one who is really really not worthy for anything... Later as we are doing it for the first time, we doesn't know the *** rules what ever they fixed..they will not explain you the advantages and disadvantages as well ( as their only motive is to cheat you) . Eden movers provided us the form with the amount and carry over items filled in...where you have to update your date of delivery..We asked the person who came our home for loading the things..he told it is nothing with the date whatever you fill in..no matter at all..that it will take only 7 to 10 business days to reach us.. believing the *** guy wordings we mentioned the date of delivery as 5 business days gap from when they loaded from us.. Later Edens moving told a big story that the date of delivery matters ..the date provided by us is the expected first shipment date for delivery...so as per their rule they can take 21 business days to delivery the things to you...and also each day after this will be counted for refunding an amount for delay.. (25$ per day).. We waited for 23 business days totally,....that too with broken items ..and missing too..atlast when we called them for missing item and refund of money...n response from them... Nice play ..... Ends ............................. Finally i want to summarize on one thing, I wont workship god ..But i still believe god rules everything ...He will pay you for everything you do...People like you who cheat who do business on everything , god will surely pay you the rest of it...

Edens Moving Services Moving Service Review

They purposely destroyed furniture so they wouldn't have to move it. Took advantage of particle board "not responsible" clause. Never finished delivery of bed frame. Even though promised. No professionalism. Destroyed (3) pieces of furniture. Was asked to sign papers without service rendered.

Fantastic service!

Fantastic service from these guys!!! I received several phone calls from moving companies regarding my move back to Kansas. Barry from Edens moving services was the most professional sales representative out of all, he was very thorough and transparent. Martin and the crew were absolutely amazing! they were very polite and did an excellent job on packing my household goods. I have received my shipment after 9 days and besides a broken chair everything was just fine. I promised Barry that if everything go's well, and it did, that I will share my moving experience with others. Thank you guys for making this a stress less move for me!

Very late delivery than what committed and other issues

I had terrible experience with the Eden Relocating Services. I felt them to be very untrustworthy and un-customer centric company overall. Apparently there are three departments that work and behave totally opposite of what the other department says or commits. The Sales Department just want to make the deal and are ready to accommodate anything. We were not sure of the packages that we would have and gave a guesstimated number and the Sales team (Joe) said that they can have few additional items at no cost. The small, medium and large box size that they gave are not in standard. I mean you don’t get these size boxes easily in Wal-Mart or Target. The shipment collecting team does not tolerate a small change in the dimension. As we did not get same size box and the height of the small box increased by 1.5 inch and they considered that as medium. So in total our allowance of 5 small boxes totally gone. Also, the cubic feet rate that is given on your initial contract is the final rate of whatever you add to the agreed quotation. Thus the collecting team behaves totally different than what sales team says. They just go by what is present on the paper. Also, the sales team says that the shipment will be delivered couple of days before or after the expected date that you want. But when you sign on the contract the contract says that it could take anywhere between 14 to 21 days to get the packages. Also this is not mentioned in the contract. You come to know about this on your final version of contract document. Also, each clause is written in such a way that it benefits the company and squeezes money out of customer (Few example, they send 53 inch trailer and if your housing society does not allow such big trailer then they will charge you $300 for getting the stuff in small vehicle to your house, rates for delivery are different for different floor and the list goes on). For us, we requested them to deliver the shipment on 7th July and we got the shipment on 29th July. When we used to call them they were not aware where our shipment was and used to connect us to the dispatch team. The dispatch team also used to give some weird answers and was rude at many times. And no one knows what was said or committed to customer. Also, when we tried to contact Joe about the shipment he never answered or returns the call. It is surprising how the behavior of individual changes once they get the commitment from customer. Joe used to personally call and follow up until we approved the quotation. He responded to each call. But from the day the shipment was collected he never answered or returned the call. How would anyone like to do business again with someone like this. This behavior is totally against any ethical or moral principles of doing business. We had all our stuff in the shipment and had to go through lot of trouble until we received the shipment. I can go on elaborating my worst experience that I had with this company but I don’t feel it worth spending much time on them. I just wished to warn few customers like me to avoid falling in their trap. Overall, it was the worst experience that any company could give it customer. It was worst decision of my life to do business with them. I don’t recommend this company to anyone who is planning to use Eden as their relocating agent. Its bunch of insensitive and untrustworthy people who say and do things differently.

Terrible moving company

Where to start......So I recently moved from phoenix to nashville. In doing so I was contacted by American Top Moving for their services. I obliged and chose them. They then passed me off to Eden's which is where all the troubles began. The agreed on pick up date I had was botched, the arrival of my things to nashville was THREE WEEKS LATER THAN WHAT I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE. I couldn't get in touch with anyone and when I finally did, little was done to accommodate the companies inadequacies. FINALLY I did enough following up and complaining that they discounted the second half of my move but even then they were sketchy about living up to their word. Do yourself a favor and go with a more reputable company. Unless of course you like sleeping on couches or air mattress for weeks on end while continually being promised your things will be delivered in the next few days by people that will not return your phone calls.

My furniture arrived trashed.

I hired Eden's Moving and Storage in September of this year to move from CO to CA. I had no idea my belongings were going to go from truck to truck to warehouse to warehouse and then to me. My things arrived trashed. My antique dresser had all 4 legs shattered, my boxes were crushed on just about every side. Even though I carefully packed my glassware, many of them were shattered. My filing cabinet was crushed on top and in the front. I needed a hammer to pry it open and it's ruined. I don NOT recommend this company.

This is by far the worst moving company I've seen. They do a lot of sloppy work, mostly guessing about the size of your move.

Once the ghetto *** driver arrives he claims that the estimate is too small. You need to spend more money.

I cut them to the quick, threatened action via the attorney general. Let's put these sleazy

creeps out of business.!

I just read your post about Eden Moving Co. To "pissed off", I, too, hired Eden.

I had the SAME EXACT EXPERIENCE!!! They broke my big wooden queen size bed. All of my furniture has dings & chips. The worst was seeing that the brand new boxes I used to pack up things were completely deformed, smashed, some even appeared to have been opened.

I'm completely disgusted w/the lack of care & decency to bring our belongings to us as they are required to. We pay an arm & a leg, so to speak, & this is what we get? It's complete ***!

FYI-to all consumers out there...be aware that many of these, so called, "moving companies" file for business licenses in other names, but you're still dealing w/the same company who may have ripped you off in the past! :(

Eden Moving & Storage Company Denver, CO

Hello, I recently made a mistake of a company Eden Moving and Storage Company in Denver , CO on this site I believe it was Aug. 3rd or 4th 2012. I would like to retract my statement and make a public apolgy to the company. I was under alot of stress , on pain medication and trying to pack and do as much as I could in my home of 18yrs. of stuff. Moving at our age of 65 and 70 yrs.old is alot of stress for the elderly. My husband is not physically well either and we had no family in Denver to help us out. But the good thing was we ended this move on the right track with the company which was very nice and generous to us. Eli , please accept my apology. Sincerely Barbara Branchetti 8/15/12

Eden Moving & Storage Company Denver, CO

My husband & I were moving from CO to Penna. Orginally had a mover hired and went thru a process of moving company bids. Eden moving company kept calling us for the job. I told them I had a budget to work with and if they could work with $5,000 dollars for full service they could have the job. So they said they could. Well I asked them to come to my home and do a bid, and inventory. Sales said no, we do that. We did it and on day of move we were charged another $2000 on top of $5000. Senior citizens on Soc. Sec. cant do that. At least we can't. We were told we went over our 1200 cubic feet in the truck. #1 mistake, they should have come to home do a inventory, we are only lay people not exp. in moving. Anyway please do not use this company as they will bilk you for more money. BB nt do

Other moving companies are just as bad. The whole industry seems to be filled with sleazy, lying people.

American Van Lines did the same thing to me except they didn't show up. But they already took $2600 as a deposit and then called on the morning of the pickup and said they wouldn't be able to make it and asked if I could wait until the following week.

Now I'm trying to get my money back through American Express but it is proving difficult. If I had to do it over again I would have just done it myself and found some workers off of craigslist to lift the heavy stuff because that is what the moving company did when they delivered.
